cold water

These photos were from last week during a brief visit from “Grandma”, my Mother, on a morning spent in St Kilda. It was a lovely day and I especially enjoyed walking along the beach before the crowds descended.

We didn’t have a dip in the ocean, heading down there quite unprepared for a swim and I wasn’t very keen to have her out in that hot intense sun. A beach umbrella or sun shade is an absolute necessity. I wish I was more familiar with the beaches down here! I miss driving up to the Sunshine Coast to visit special little secluded beaches where there isn’t another person for miles.

We just have to continue our explorations!
